Great Savings on Clothes

I have been looking for the perfect shirt for my baby shower this weekend, and have had no luck. I am on a tight budget, and do not want to spend a fortune on clothes that I may not be able to wear after the baby is born. I found a couple of shirts at Walmart and Target, but could not find anything under $10. The shirts that were $10 was nothing that I would have really wanted to wear.

I decided to go to Ross today, and found the best deals. My best friend and I went to find something to wear to the baby shower, and have a little girt time of course. We went through a few racks and found a lot that we really liked. After trying on our clothes we bath picked out two different shirts. With my two shirts and a pack of baby wash clothes I spent less that $20.

I also found a lot of bras that I would love to have, but there was no maternity bras. The price of the bras were great though, some less than $5. If you are expecting a baby I highly suggest going to Ross I found so many things that I loved that was all less than $10. I will be going back to Ross after the baby is born so I can save money on the baby items that I need.

We Have to Change Our Financial Future

In the last few months I have been doing research, and trying to discover new ways of improving my finances. Saving money and other things work great, but I have to make more changes if I truly want to change my financial future. Doing the research is a great tool to help you with your financial future, but you have to choose to make changes in your life.

We have to look at our financial future and decide what we truly want. You may want to reduce your debt, increase your savings, get a home, send your kids to school, or numerous other things, but you have to decide to make real changes to achieve these goals.

What we need to do to change our financial futures:

  1. Make realistic goals
  2. Have a plan that you can stick to
  3. Avoid splurging that will hurt your goals
  4. Accept that there will be setbacks, and get through them
  5. Remember that you are the one who has to change your financial future, no one else can do it for you.
From this point on try to make a promise to yourself to change your financial future. It can be a small promise or a large one. Start with promising yourself to cut back $25 worth of spending a month. After a few months you can make your promise even bigger, but keep your promise to yourself and you will see a difference in your finances.
